My Dad finally went home from the States after 15 years…… I was overjoyed a month ago when he arrived… me and my brother was very happy together with our spouses and children. There was lots of parties , reunions and family gatherings that we had attended …. we even attended my Dads class reunion after 50 years… Dad’s former classmates were awed and vey much surprised because my Dad’s still look the same after 50 years… he is the same handsome guy that he is in high school , the favorite consort of his female classmates during proms and beauty pageant….. They flocked around Dad like they used to do 50 years ago… I am vey proud of my father… that is why you cannot blamed me if until now at the age of 48….. I AM STILL A DADDY’S GIRL !!!!!!!!!!!

I was very depressed at that time…to the point of starving myself which resulted to my hospitalization because i experience hypoglycemia-very low blood sugar. My doctor told me that i have to accept my fate…whether i like it or not , diabetes will be with me until i die. In order that i will live longer and be free from some complications , my blood sugar should be controlled , by proper diet-low cho,no fat at all, and most esp.no sweets!! imagine that? No more chocolates, ice cream, lechon, dinuguan, coke, salads, and cakes!!! Hu!hu!hu! I really cried during that time coz all the foods that was prohibited are all my favorites.I have to religiously maintained my meds for diabetes too…i have to let go of my previous lifestyle…no more beer drinking with my friends,no more smoking, and going out at nights with my friends.I have to lie low…i have to follow the advice of my doctor.Well…thats life…nowadays…i have already accepted the fact that diabetes is my partner for life!!! I have to live with it…that is why i want to go abroad because maybe…just maybe…there will be a medical discovery for diabetes….for now…i have to be very careful…coz…i am beginning to have blurring of vision and high blood pressure.HAVE A HEALTHY LIFESTYLE GUYS IF YOU DONT WANT TO HAVE THIS DREADED DISEASE- DIABETES!!!!
